Using Data to Build Support

While the outcome measures above can be analyzed to determine if your program has met its targeted goals, they are also vital to making the case for your program with various constituencies, including decision-makers at the state and college level, funders in the public and private sectors, and others in the education and workforce fields who are positioned to replicate and scale these programs.

Cost data, particularly if they reveal a positive return on investment for your program, can make a very strong argument for further investment. But qualitative data, including “success stories” of students that illustrate the personal impact of integrated pathway programs, are compelling as well.
